Frequently asked
How is usage metered?
We count successful AI-generation and transform calls against your daily quota. Read endpoints (listing saved recipes, pantry) are free and unmetered.
What happens when I hit the limit?
You get an HTTP 429 with a Retry-After header. Requests resume automatically once the window resets, with no penalty or surprise charges.
Can I bring my own OpenRouter key?
On the Scale tier, yes. Point Dishora at your own LLM provider key for full cost control and data residency.
Is there a free tier?
No perpetual free tier. Instead, every account gets a sandbox key with a one-time 10-call allowance to try the API, no card required. When those calls run out, upgrade to Starter ($19/mo). The sandbox key never bills.
